What to do on a rainy day
Well if you have to hang around the house because you are stuck for somewhere to go - or perhaps you are on crutches like me, what better way to spend your time than crafting! Here is what I have been doing.
I hope you like it, I made this fab jewellery stand for the WS Designs TV show tomorrow. I have not even shown Wendy yet! It took a day or so to make (well not all in one go, but a bit here and a bit there, inbetween other very important jobs like eating and sleeping)
I am really pleased with the finished result, it is not exactly how I would have liked it but then nothing ever is. I used an old jewellery stand which had seen better days and re vamped it with the WS Designs Bodice and Fan Template. In fact the lovely scrummy papers are from WS Designs too!
I am not sure about you but I think it would make a super gift and what a great way of revamping old bits of stuff that you have around the house.

Where does the time go?
I just don’t know where the time goes!
You wake up on Monday morning with a big plan of what you are going to do work wise in the week and before you know it – its Friday, you have been mad busy but still, you have not achieved half of what you wanted to do! Oh well best laid plans and all that.
I have had fun though this week, as well as doing my usual jobs for Make It (just one day this week so far) and for Wendy I have been having fun making all my demo samples for Monday’s TV show. What a Week!
Boy what a week and a half I have just had, I am trying super hard to keep on top of all the bits and bobs I am working on and to get it all finished before I have my Op a week on Tuesday. So far the in box is not emptying much!! But never mind, I shan't worry as it is only just over two weeks now unti CHICAGO yeah yeah yeah. So excited.
Anyway, I am off to teach at Stampeezee today and then demo there this afternoon check out my home page for some finished samples of what we will be doing on the demo.
As well as all the work this week Wendy (from WS Designs) treated me on Tuesday to a Spa day, it was LOVELY she took me to a place in Nottingham called Thorseby Hall (hope the spelling is right) and I can tell you I was so relaxed by the end of it I could have slept standing, just the job really. Creative Day
I am so lucky in my job, I really am. All week so far I have been doing computer based jobs, but today - YIPEE. It is creative day. I have to finish off the project of the month for WS Designs next month and Wendy has also set me a challenge!
She has gone green and has added some re useable canvas bags to her range of products. Basically these bags will be given away free if you spend over a certain amount, or you can buy one (for those of you who like to collect Wendy's products).
When Wendy and I originally talked about them we said we would only have them printed on one side. That way if you want to use the bag every day you can and when you don't want to advertise WS Designs, you can spin it around to have the blank side face out. Then I came up with the idea of decorating the blank side - get this - with fabric shapes cut from her templates..... Me that can't sew!! Ha Ha I do get myself into some pickles. Well ..... Read More

Graduation Day
Thank goodness for a bit of sunshine, I was hoping beyond hope that today would turn out to be sunny and yeah it is.
Our good friend Laura graduates today with honours from the OU and I am so excited for her. We are all going into Birmingham in our finery (Mark even bought me a lovely tiny radley bag for the occasion!!) to watch her get her certificate and the award she won for graduating as the highest achieving student in her year.
Honestly she amazes me as she did her degree whilst in a really busy job in BT. I wish I had her motivation I can tell you.
Well I will be sure to take lots of pics ready for scrappin.
I also wanted to share some exciting news, my good friend Traci from Particraft has asked me to write some projects as an ongoing thing for the new Particraft e magazine - I am so excited as I love Particraft. Busy little Bee
Gosh I am like a one woman whirlwind. This week I have been so busy and I am loving every minute of it. Whilst things are quiet in Make It land whilst I am waiting for floorplans for the new shows, I am busy with lots of work for WS Designs. It is almost time for me to reveal the new things and in fact some of them I can reveal to you in just a few days!!!
I have also got two brand new web accounts this week which means I have been super busy sourcing pictures for their uploads. When the sites are ready I will be sure to let you know.
On top of that I have finished my class sample for the Stampeezee All About Me Workshop on the 28th of June. Check out my HOME Page to see it, I loved every minute of it and can't wait to teach the class.
